Prior to S-3, Arjun Mody served as Policy Director for the Senate Republican Policy Committee, a key part of the leadership team in the U.S. Senate. In this capacity, he led the office and served as senior staff to the Chairman, Senator John Barrasso (R-WY). Mody was responsible for the weekly policy lunch and for coordinating with Senate Committees and Leadership offices on floor activity. As a policy expert, Mody spearheaded efforts on health care including legislation to replace the Affordable Care Act; and energy and environment issues including EPA regulations.
Mody also served as Policy Director for Carly Fiorina’s U.S. Senate campaign in California, and previous positions in the Senate include serving as Counsel and senior staff to U.S. Senators Elizabeth Dole (R-NC) and Kay Bailey Hutchinson (R-TX). Additionally, Mody was the Assistant Director at ONE, an organization that fights extreme poverty in Africa founded by U2 lead singer Bono. Mody got his start in Washington, D.C. in the George W. Bush Administration, serving as Deputy Director for Legislative Affairs at the White House Office of Drug Control Policy.
Mody received a B.A. from La Salle University, J.D. from Arizona State University, and LL.M. from American University.
