Hastie brings extensive experience in digital strategy and management consulting for a wide range of global brands to her role as The Head of Digital at S-3 Public Affairs. A rare strategic and operational thinker- Hastie not only identifies insights from data, but she also crafts the communication strategy and leads the day-to-day execution of award winning campaigns. Day in and day out, Hastie provides invaluable digital advocacy and communications counsel and crafts integrated creative strategies on behalf of our clients. She especially excels in effectively transforming brands so they can reach the influencers who matter through digital channels; managing large, national campaigns; amplifying and supporting shoe-leather government relations work using digital; and navigating crises.
Hastie cut her teeth in building digital teams within government relations firms at Podesta Group, where she built and expanded the digital department, making it a powerhouse of advocacy in DC and helping it earn its first award for digital strategy. Prior to working in government relations, Hastie was a member of the global strategy team at Social@Ogilvy, one of the largest digital and marketing communications agencies in the world. She helped lead the development of the agency’s leading-edge social media products and services, giving her clients access to the most innovative digital marketing thinking and capabilities.
Before joining the agency world, Hastie worked for Booz Allen Hamilton, leading large-scale change management projects. Her management consulting days allowed her to solidify her expertise in building teams and managing large scale products, including $50 million Department of Defense research programs.
